Today, we work directly with more than 50 master weavers and workshops across Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, Kabul, and northern regions. These are not factories — they are families, villages, and small groups of artisans who rely on this craft for their livelihood. Every rug supports not only the weaver, but their household, their children, and their future.
We spent many years working mainly in wholesale. Our rugs were sold through dealers, exporters, and showrooms around the world. But over time, we realized that people who truly appreciate handmade rugs should be able to buy directly from the source — without unnecessary layers, inflated prices, or loss of authenticity.
That’s why QRugs was created. Not to change the craft, but to protect it — and to connect the weaver directly with the end customer.
Every rug we sell carries a story:
the story of the person who made it,
the village it came from,
the culture behind its design,
and the centuries of knowledge woven into every knot.
When you buy from QRugs, you are not just buying a rug. You are helping a tradition survive. You are supporting real people. And you are bringing a piece of living history into your home.
Our Story
Weaving Legacy into Every Thread
QRugs is not just a business for us. It is how we keep our history alive and how we support the people who have been making rugs for generations.
Our family has been in this work for four generations. It began when our great-grandfather took a loan from a friend, took a risk, and started weaving rugs with very limited resources. There were no factories, no machines, and no big plans — only hard work, skill, and belief that honest craftsmanship would one day be valued.
In 1962, our work became more structured as a small family workshop. The knowledge was passed from father to son, from one generation to the next.
Over time, our family became especially known for Super Baluchi rugs. Through years of consistent quality and large-scale handmade production, we became known as one of the strongest sources for these rugs — both in quality and quantity. This reputation was built slowly, one rug at a time, through trust and long relationships.
