This is the boldest piece in our kilim line. Vertical columns of diamonds and hourglass motifs run in vivid red, turquoise, gold and cream, framed by a serrated tribal border. Every shade comes from natural plant based dyes, which is what keeps a palette this bright from looking synthetic. The colors carry the gentle unevenness of hand dyed wool, so the whole rug reads warm and alive rather than flat and printed.
